group coaching

Perfect for you if you:

  • have a 6-18m old

  • want a bespoke sleep plan,

  • are looking for reassurance of support for 2 weeks while you implement the plan,

  • love the idea of being part of a team of mums going through the same thing. No judgement, no infuriating advice, just cheerleaders who totally get it.

  • think strategies for the months to come to keep you on track is incredibly helpful!

Want to know a bit more?

Do you want to:

  • understand what is going on with your little ones sleep, not just waking overnight but their hyperactivity before bed, refusal to nap when they are obviously exhausted or the excruciatingly early wake ups (hello 5am on a Sunday!)

  • feel confident in a plan that not only takes away the stress of deciding what to do when they wake for (what feels like) the hundredth time but also gives you practical, positive actions to take in the daytime - straight away.

  • still maintain your bond and relationship with your little one whilst implementing clear, firm boundaries.

  • feel like you are in more control, rather constantly wondering what the day or night holds.

  • build a support team of mums going through exactly the same thing as you. No one judging your choices. No one giving frustrating, irrelevant advice. Just a team of mamas cheering you on, celebrating with you and motivating you when it gets tough

  • know that I’m not just going to tell you what to do and then leave you to it. I’ll be in the private Facebook group every day, answering questions, giving you more information, tweaking your plan, telling you that you’re doing an awesome job. Plus I’ll be going live at least once a week to talk about common questions that are coming up and giving you practical tips and information.

  • Finally? you will understand sleep in a way that makes you feel confident that you can deal with potential sleep issues in the future. Travelling abroad, napping when you are out for the day, developmental leaps, teething, illness - they will all disrupt sleep, no doubt about that, but having the tools and confidence to get yourselves quickly back on track… how much is that worth?!

what commitment does this take?

Undoing patterns of behaviour your little one has developed is hard. There are no two ways about it. These are the things I tell every client:

Initially it will probably get worse before it gets better -but it WILL get better.

Progress won’t be in a straight line.- it might feel like you’re taking one step forward, two steps back (that’s why the group is SO important)

For the best results, you need to put the sleep plan first for at least 2 weeks. The holistic approach looks at your whole day… food, routine, naps, environment, activity etc… to give the plan a chance to work, you need to try and stick to it as much as possible. Once your little one is responding well, there are lots of ways to integrate all your hard work in to your normal routine so don’t panic that you are going to be stuck at home forever!

Finally, this plan is as much about you as it is your little one. Being calm, consistent and patient will help you get results much quicker. But I know it’s not easy, especially when you are exhausted, frustrated and anxious! I will support you to find ways of being calm, consistent and patient - even if you can’t imagine it now!

will there be any crying involved?

I am always honest with my clients. Yes, there might be crying. But I will never ask you to leave your little one crying on their own. And the strategies I will suggest will always be age and stage appropriate and everything is at a pace you are comfortable with.

Got questions I haven’t covered? Send it to me in an email (hello@sophiethesleepcoach.com) and I will reply or we can have a quick chat if that helps!

Wondering what my clients say?

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sophie over the last 8 weeks and I would really recommend talking to her about your situation. We’ve had real problems with sleep since our son was born almost 11 months ago and I had read every book going and tried what has felt like every method available. Since taking to Sophie I’ve started to feel more confident in myself and my understanding of sleep cues, awake times and what works for my son specifically. No baby is the same and to have something that is completely tailored to you and your baby is invaluable. We made great progress to begin with and it felt amazing! In 10 months I had never had more than 3hrs sleep in a row and a week in we had 5, then 6hrs. Then the reality of teeth or a leap jumped in and things got rocky again but Sophie was there every step of the way. We looked at different approaches to nap refusal, what to do with early waking and a consistent bedtime routine. Sophie has been like having my own personal cheerleader wishing us a better nights sleep. I’ve not felt very confident throughout motherhood so far and I think a lot of that is because of sleep deprivation and constantly second guessing what I’m doing. Sophie is really helping me to believe I am the best person to understand my baby and has offered ideas to help me grow in this area. If you are on the fence about using Sophie, jump off it and speak to her. You won’t regret those extra hours sleep!
